sting-2

Although many people scoff at bee stings as minor pain compared to other insect stings and bites, the part of the body that gets stung may play a major role in the degree of pain experienced.

According to entomologist Michael Smith who subjected his entire body to multiple bee stings in an effort to better understand the pain, believe it or not,  the nostrils are the area of the body that hurt the most when stung by a bee.

To discover which insect bites are worse, you can find out from Schmidt Pain Scale, developed by University of Arizona entomologist, Justin Schmidt.
