It’s safe to say comedians at the International Melbourne Comedy Roadshow in Kununurra on Monday wished they were in a room that had been fitted with insect screens instead of outdoors. If they had been, they wouldn’t have had to battle moths and other bugs which invaded the stage, just to get through their sets.
Some made jokes about the bugs, others battled through trying not to swallow any. One comedian brought his fly spray onto stage with him.
Thousands of bugs crawled all over the comics as they tried to get through their acts, and at one point when there was a moment of silence, actual crickets could be heard chirping.
This is why you need your Freedom Screens covering doors and windows.
