Summer usually signals the re-entry of animals into your garden looking for something to eat.
Keeping these pests out of your garden without toxic chemicals is not only more humane, but eco-friendly and better for your health as well.
Tip 1 – Make it stink. Greg Kerin, owner of a plant nursery, said a stocking filled with blood and bone will go rank and stink enough to keep critters away.
Tip 2- Fence the area. Building a fence or cage around your vegetable garden is an effective and non-toxic way to keep animals out.
