Avoid the stifling summer heat even if you don’t have an air conditioner. We found this cheap and easy DIY option to keep you cool.
Materials needed:

- 1 bag of ice
- 1 rubber dryer tube
- 1 styrofoam cooler
- Pom poms
- 1 desk fan
Then follow these steps:
- Put the ice in the cooler,
- Trace around the dryer tube and cut a hole in the lid of the cooler
- Stick the tube in the hole.
- Trace the shape of a small fan and cut a hole so the fan will fit snugly without falling through
- Add streamers and pom poms
Voila…your own DIY air conditioner. It even works perfectly outdoors or for a patio.
