Justin Schmidt is an entomologist who has been stung by 83 different insects and is detailing his experiences by ranking 83 insect stings on a spectrum of 1 to 4.

Schmidt focuses specifically on a group of insects called Hymenoptera, stinging ants, wasps and bees are found in this category.

Nicknamed “King of Sting”, Schmidt travels around the world seeking insects and allowing them to sting him.
