Students at Harvard University have created the ultimate BBQ robot.
The secret to the perfectly cooked meat done on the BBQ is the smoker. According to the creators, the meat practically cooks itself.
The 300-pound BBQ’s cooking surface design lets the smoke wrap evenly around the meat. It has a water pan which assists in moisture and air circulation. It also collects drippings.
The BBQ also features a refuelling chute built into the side of it. The fuel basket facilitates easier removal and addition of fuel. This feature also distributes temperature evenly around the BBQ.
This BBQ robot’s other features include a proportional-integral-derivative controller, a Raspberry Pi, and fans to regulate temperature. The result is a slow and low-cooking process.
